Did you know that Professor Onye Egwu has been active and sensational on the mic since winning the King of Highlife, 2022?
With eleven hit singles and three featured specials, the Nnewi-born Afro Highlife Artiste has taken the entertainment world by storm. In fact, he has exceptional on the microphone more than he has been on microbiology, a course he studied at Anambra State University, Uli (Now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University).
When he first dropped Peremense, some people thought that the success of the song was by chance and doubted he'd continue to make waves. He has however proven that he means business. This is clearly seen in all his songs released thus far. None of his songs is short of what a good music should be.
His latest release Looking Nyash has continued to stir reactions among music lovers, with many people asking what inspires him to compose the kind of songs he does. He has always maintained a style of music laced with message. This makes his music unique.
