New Disease discovered!
Group fingered Nigeria IGP , called for prompt diagnosis.
A group known as The world wide Health Scientists(WWHS) have on Thursday announce the discovery of a new disease called Communication Transmission and Comprehension Confusion Disorder, abbreviated COMTRACCOD, pronounced and also written as " comtracord".
Speaking to the Global Health Watch on Friday, the leader of the group Professor Kempi, said this discovery had been made long before now but yesterday release was very significant.
He said they have being working on the research since 2009. Many valid papers on the finding were also claimed to have been produced which the group said they decided to keep to the public awareness until the research is concluded.
"The reason for our yesterday prompt decision to release that paper being the first part of our research finding is consequent upon review of a viral video which features a perceived sufferer claimed to be the Nigeria Inspector General of Police", professor Kempi explained.
He said the video did not only buttress the fact of the existence of Comtracordic disease but also validate the contents of the research paper. He also stated that they have concluded plans to invite the said IGP for related diagnosis.
On the Section One, chapter five of the paperwork, dwelling on the Disease Pathology, CTRACCOD is defined as a medical condition which affects the brain of an adult individual causing them to pronounce the word, TRANSMISSION, while reading, in replacement of 60 to 80 percent of the actual word they are reading in combination with other mannerisms.
Apart from Transmission, some other words like, omission, apprehension, commission, could also be pronounced. These words usually ending in "ion", the paper generally referred to as "literal demons".
The paperwork called it a critical "brain-blocking" condition which do have serious effect on the the sufferer's ability to communicate sense, comprehend reasons, relate issues and understand even themselves.
In 98% of cases, the paper said, sufferers may not actually notice they have the problem.
They do not actually know they are not in order when they are reading.
The reason for this is not clearly stated on the paper, but when asked, Professor Kempi said, this is the basis of there ongoing research and would be clearly spelt out subsequently.
"In any case, I would say the eye capture the right word correctly which is at the level the readers awareness is affirmed. The word then proceeds to be transmitted accordingly to the brain and then upon interpretation and retransmission, it is then replaced will these "demons", which causes the mouth to pronounce the word wrongly as Transmission and what have you" Professor Kempi stated.
Where the "literal demons" do emanate from is still a mystery as the research could not tell if the disease only effects individual who has accustomed such words.
The medical cause of the problem they said could not be validly ascertain in the latest release but said effort are being made towards this and may be expected in the subsequent research releases.
Meanwhile, a medical psychologist, Professor Bravely while reacting to this claim, argued without proof that if really such a condition exists, it could rather be psychological rather than what Kempi's studies tends to project.
He attributed the possible causes to low IQ, over confidence, poor education, poor knowledge of the subjects being read from, lack of confidence, not being honest, aggressive move to deceive, incompetency, Excessive Drink influence and so on.
"If you look at that video which formed the basis of the release of Kempi's paperwork" Professor Bravely said, "the man who is said to be the Nigeria commissioner of police, from the psychological stand point, you will notice couple or more of these possible factors.
You will understand that the man looks entirely unconnected to that event while his body movement clearly depicts he is not aware of the subjects he wanted to talk about.
From another angle, you could see, he must have delve into the speech unaware of what it was all about.
And from all indications, one could rightly conclude that, that speech was not actually his. I mean, it must have been written and prepared for him and he must have not cared to review it before he came out to read from it.
He also was too confident probably in hope to deceive the public that he knows his onions while he doesn't"
Professor Bravely said, this is a common occurrence when one read from an already made speech especially the one which they are quite unconnected with the subject matter.
He said in such situations, when one came across a familiar word, there is this psychological impulse that forces the mind to replace all other foreign words with the ones already known. This in turn causes the eye to sticks by only the familiar word causing the reader to repeat those familiar words for every other word they see.
However, one of the WWHS researcher, Dr. McGee, also made an important revelation that points toward Professor Bravely claim when reacting to a question pertaining their case study, Dr. McGee stated that they are dwelling focuses on the African populace especially the politicians.
He said from their preliminary studies, Comtraccodic risk tends to be high on Africans especially the politicians and public office holder.
This revelation however tends to affirm Bravely's claims as African(especially African politicians) tends to have this common culture of addressing the gathering by reading from written speeches and addresses prepared by paid writers.
Also, as claimed, the video in question emanated from Nigeria, a West Africa country ruled by President Mohammed Buhari. Mohammed Buhari is the leader of the ruling All progressive Congress party. He has severally been accused of leading a government marred with widespread bigotry and ethnic favouritism which majority of Nigerians held have forced the government into several appointments of incompetent political office holders.
It would therefore not be a hasty conclusion that the man in the video is one of such appointed personnel, and his own Comtracordic disorder might be as a result of incompetency.
Recall, not while ago, president Buhari was also in a media quagmire when he was accused of plagiarising the speech of one-time American President.
The ill speech which the Presidency did not deny was written by a paid writer.
