TalesAfrik is a body of creatives that seek to Reflect the classical and contemporary development of the African storytelling tradition by harnessing works from individuals and groups that develop contents that highlights themes around our cultures and traditions for educational purposes and as a store of fact and knowledge for both the present and future generations, and by extension correcting misconceptions held about Africa by the rest of the world. It is a movement that connects people from different parts of the city under one roof to incubate, share, critic works by these enthusiasts, and grow the community. We also take submissions from short storytellers/writers from other parts of the country, Africa and continents of the world. This gathering holds on the last Sundays of every month and has become a culture that has come to stay.
