THE REASON WHY YOUNG LEADERS ARE TAKING OVER IN 2023

The youths of Nigeria make up about 70% of the voting population of the country. This means that if they all vote for one person, they decide who becomes president. Yet 29.4 million young people are unemployed – no jobs

We are all voting for a young person in 2023 not because we feel it’s a rotation thing or they it is our time to shine, or a doctrine of necessity; No. It is because Nigeria is too complex and too digital to be led by old and outdated methods. We need fresh ideas.

In 2023, the entire senate will be young. The entire house of Reps will be young. The state governors will be young and all of the ministers will be young smart and intelligent young Nigerians. This is the reason why

For over 60 years now, we have been led by the wisdom of 1960 and that wisdom prevailed even among the young of that generation and they are still there up until now. You can’t continue to do the same thing and expect an different result. You can’t apply 1960 methods to 2020 problems let alone 2023.

Nigeria imported $47.4 billion (N19.4 trillion) worth of goods from around the world last year (2019) which is up 40% since this government took power in 2015. Any well meaning President/Governor/Parliamentarian would frown at this. For every dollar we import, we export jobs and import poverty and shrink our economy further. The solution has been there and they know it.

We have no business exporting N2.3 trillion ($5.6 billion) to import vehicles. That money would have expanded innoson vehicle manufacturing and would have created much needed jobs for Nigerians

We have no business exporting our hard earned N615 billion ($1.5 billion) importing plastics. Plastics wey we fit make for aba. Why not pump that money there, let it go round Aba, and see what will happen. These guys can produce every plastic we need.

In that same last year we spent N533 billion ($1.3 billion) importing cereals… what happened to pumping that half
