The Warrior and the Snake (part 1)
Kofi was a young warrior from the village of Nima. He was brave, strong, and skilled in fighting with his spear and shield. He had a dream of becoming the chief of his tribe one day, and he was always looking for opportunities to prove himself.
One day, he heard a rumor that there was a big snake living in the forest near the river. The snake was said to be as long as a palm tree and as thick as a man’s waist. It had scales that shone like gold and eyes that glowed like fire. It was also said that the snake guarded a treasure of jewels and coins that it had stolen from travelers and merchants.
Kofi decided to go and hunt the snake. He thought that if he could kill it and bring back its treasure, he would earn the respect and admiration of his people. He took his spear and shield, and set off for the forest.
