Practical Leadership in Action. Hon. Kpautagi’s Experience in Farm Management

Before stepping onto the political stage, Hon. Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi was already deeply immersed in the practical realities of agriculture, not just as a strategist or manager, but as someone who worked closely with people, systems, and production on the ground.

As Farm Manager at Saphatti Nigeria Ltd, Kuje. Hon. Kpautagi was entrusted with overseeing farm operations, production output, logistics coordination, and overall efficiency management. In this role, he ensured that agricultural activities met both commercial goals and quality standards, a responsibility that demanded leadership, precision, and adaptability.

His experience managing large-scale farm operations equipped him with firsthand insight into the challenges of food production, resource management, and sustainable agricultural practices. More importantly, it sharpened his capacity to solve problems, lead teams, and align operations with outcomes, all under pressure and with limited resources.

This hands-on leadership experience reflects one of Hon. Kpautagi’s strongest qualities: he leads from experience, not assumption. He understands what it takes to move from the soil to the market, from production to policy, and from local solutions to national development.

As he steps forward to represent Mokwa, Lavun, and Edati Federal Constituency, he brings not just ambition, but a deep well of technical and operational knowledge ready to be transformed into policies that empower farmers, energize agribusiness, and uplift communities.
