Every individual has a purpose as well as every business.

A purposeless person or business is a person/business with no bearing or direction.

If your business lacks purpose, then what exactly will you be offering your "customers" or "targeted audience"?

This has been my thoughts since i conceived this topic "What is the main purpose of an Event?"

As an Event planner, you are not only supposed to know the purpose of an event but also understand your customers' purpose for his or her event. By doing that, there will be a good symbiotic relationship between the event planner and the client.

An Event planner should understand two things:
1. Your first aim is to create a beautiful memory for your clients
2. Your second aim is to be the creator of your clients' visions or imaginations.

By having this as your priority, you have met "the main purpose of an event", which is the answer to our previous question on "What is the main purpose of an Event".

THE BENEFITS OF PAGEANTRY USING PET PROJECT AS A POINT OF REFERENCE

Writing Pet Projects for people has positively exposed me to alot of things that i had little or no knowledge about. This is because i have to research detailedly about the brand, the person i am writing for and the topic of the project. Everyone is not a writer, or have the patience and time to write long sentences with several pages and that's where i come in as a Writer

Now what is a Pet Project: A Pet Project is an activity or goal carried out by a Pageant Queen or King during their reign. It addresses what you intend doing for the society during your reign.

As a pageant contestant, you are required to bring a Pet Project to camp that you will defend. That project will be rendered to the society as a queen for that pageant brand, and that's one of the beauty of Pageantry.

Beauty pageant builds you to become a life time humanitarian, it enlarges your heart to give no matter how little you have and the field you find yourself. It helps you to become more grateful about life and work more towards living the lifestyle you truly want to live.

It is an enhancer. It enhances every area of you. Tests your patience, accountability, your beliefs, your talents, and your intelligence and still put you in a position of good influence.

Yes, every industry has their own bad side and Beauty Pageant is not an exception, but you can't deny the fact that Pageantry is one of the fastest way for a young girl or guy to get noticed, build your confidence more and still reach the spotlight.

The NAME you give to anything or anybody matters alot.

In Nigeria, name giving is very important, almost every parents gave their children their names because of something significant that happen before pregnancy, during pregnancy or after pregnancy. Same thing applies to business, most persons name it after something or someone very close to their heart, maybe themselves, their parents, children, pet, food e.t.c

Most of you don't know this, but my name is Genevieve. I'm Catholic, so of course i have 2 english names and Genevieve is my Confirmation name. Beacuse i knew how important NAME is to anything, i had to research what my name means all over again😁. But this time around, i canvased the internet serching all the different meanings of Genevieve. After the research, i was satisfied with all the meanings. But then again, i didn't want my business to wear my full name, so i chose a part it VIEVE. This made me to do another huge research for the name Vieve. (Typing this, i now think i overthinked this name thing sha ooh 🤣😁😂🤦🏾‍♀️). Anyways, i chose the meaning i wanted for my business, which is "Full of Life" and till date, that meaning still guides my thought whenever i want to make any decision pertaining Vieve.

Other reason why i chose this name includes that:
1. It has been dormant since it's existence, so let it exist in something at least 🤣
2. It wore the aura i wanted my business to have 🥰
3. Very few persons knew that name, no one will be able to tell that i own the business, so it will be easier for me to pose as the manager of the business.😤

At Vieve Ushers and Events we are always full of life. Even periods when we go to work and there are some unforseen circumstances that shows up, the girls never lose the amazing energy and life in them. Their energy is so positive and magnetic. You can't work with my girls and not catch their positive fever. Yes, God blessed the brand with amazing workers, but i still know that that name VIEVE is playing its own role with or without my knowledge.

That is the power of name giving, and i think everyone starting a business should cultivate one, but if you already have one, then rebrand it by giving your business name an amazing affirmative definition.
