The first piece in the series, Emergence, explores the birth of form out of chaos. The scattered strokes and splatters reflect the uncertainty of beginnings the raw energy before structure takes shape. Life often starts this way: undefined, messy, and unpredictable, yet full of infinite potential.

This work embodies the moment where possibilities awaken, where from nothingness something begins to breathe into existence. The earthy tones echo the grounding essence of nature, reminding us that every creation whether of art, identity, or destiny rises first from the soil of disorder.

Through Emergence, we are invited to see chaos not as destruction, but as the fertile ground of becoming.

Went to the art shop today to stock up for a project, and honestly, I was blown away. The stress of moving from one shop to another just to get the right materials is one thing, but the prices? Shocking! 😳

Before even lifting a brush, I had already spent over ₦300,000 just on paints, brushes, varnish, and other essentials. That’s the reality many don’t see.

People admire the beauty of finished artworks, but behind every piece lies huge investment, physical stress, emotional energy, and long hours of work. This is why quality art can never be cheap.

Art is not just decoration it’s value, it’s durability, it’s impact. And those who truly understand value never question the price, because they know what it takes to create excellence.

Proud moment seeing my junior colleague’s work on display. .adekunle

Art has a way of speaking beyond words.

Standing beside and his surreal piece “Sisters II” exhibited yesterday . I was captivated by the intertwining figures, the fiery hand reaching for help, and the tension created through his use of red and green complementary colors charged with emotion.

The work speaks volumes about women, their intertwined struggles, and societal expectations placed upon them. It’s both mesmerizing and thought-provoking, lingering long after you step away.
