we had the privilege of welcoming the Mass Communication Department of NACABS Polytechnic, Lafia, to the African Film Institute (AFI) for their fieldwork exercise. Watching students experience professional filmmaking equipment, production techniques, and the creative process firsthand reminds us why practical education is so important.

The next generation of filmmakers, journalists, and media professionals is already in the making.

The African Film Institute (AFI) was honored to be part of the strategic visit by the Bank of Industry (BOI), under the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) initiative, to the National Film Corporation (NFC) and the National Film Institute (NFI)

The visit underscored a shared commitment to empowering Nigeria's film and creative industries through strategic investment, capacity building, innovation, and sustainable partnerships. As key stakeholders engaged in meaningful discussions, the focus remained on unlocking opportunities that will nurture talent, create jobs, and position Nigeria's creative sector for global competitiveness.
