Last week, I spent time working on customized jotters, carefully designing and finishing each piece to meet the client’s expectations. This week, I shifted my focus to creating a beautifully crafted invitation envelope, paying close attention to detail, presentation, and overall quality. I also worked on ensuring the final stage—the finished printed product—came out clean, sharp, and professionally presented, as this is what truly leaves a lasting impression on the client.

Being an artist is both fun and deeply rewarding, but it also comes with important lessons and responsibilities. It teaches patience, because great work takes time and careful effort from start to finish, especially when bringing designs to life through printing. It also emphasizes the importance of customer satisfaction, as every piece you create represents your skill and reputation. While not every project brings in a large profit, consistency and dedication help build long-term value.

Note: not all work brings plenty profit, but It’s important to manage your finances wisely—avoid going into debt for materials or production costs, and always plan your work within your means. Building strong relationships with your customers is equally essential; good communication, reliability, and professionalism can lead to repeat business and referrals. At the same time, you should price your work fairly—neither underpricing your effort nor overcharging your clients—so that both you and your customers feel satisfied.

In the end, being an artist is not just about creating beautiful designs, but also about delivering a high-quality finished product, growing your craft, maintaining integrity, and building a sustainable and fulfilling career.

Told a friend I won’t be posting cause I want to stopped posting on social media since I stopped my Sundays posting streak, but seeing today fall on same occasion as lil sis Princess Harderayor Adebesin I couldn’t hold my excitement because it has been a crazy journey.
Appreciation goes to my lil bro McAddy Adam for always being my best friend, my homie, my gist partner, my cry baby buddy, my baby from day one for always staying amidst my flaws and not giving up on me, my padi for always sharing the pain of this journey with me, my namesake .king10 for always being a clown when I’m down 😂, my grandparents, 🙏🏾, and other meaningful people in my life for not given up on me. If not death or sickness, I am definitely going to make y’all proud.
