STILL ON THE STRIKE
Prior to the ongoing indefinite strike in Aspoly Aba, Abia State from the information gathered so far,
The institution are still on the strike action of none payment of salary arias to its staff(lecturers and other servants of the institution). Prior to this point of negligence in the nature of the school management since last year which the same action was taken on but later on was kindled indoor through negotiation.
And according to fact findings, Aspoly is one nature of institution that accredit massive students in the school in accordance to their studies of which a department has up to three to four hundred admitted scholars, and each lecture carries up to one hundred and fifty learners leaving some students standing and the learning atmosphere in incondite.
In a sincere magnitude, according to the importance of learning in our environment the lecturers carries all the cross and burdens of tutorage encompassing different stages and class of study and for these reasons deserve to be paid for, even before the ending of every docket month.
The school management as facts emanates and were considered, had promised to remunerate the lecturers before hand, but out of what one may describe as invisible reason or it's selfish ankor till now stand to disagree with the said hope of learning in the institution in their ululation, and out of no weapon or trason mindset they set their pace to umuohia the state capital for a protest at the Government home for solutions which to this moment is yet to manifest.
Afterward, the lecturers out of the rage of non payment of about eleven months of their emoluments protested last two week to the matriculation ceremony auditorium to the grip of every body's attention, our parents, well wishers, love one's etc, looking at there placards the congregation were groan in murmuring with part grumbling in placid tone saying, "it's not good, pay them there wages".
The lecturers in conjunction with the departmental HODs contorts into wearing black on black in sitting at both the first and second gate and few days past, they locked the gateway till further notice.
