Omodele Akintola, 1st child and daughter of Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola arrives in Stuttgart, the first station of her one-week Goodwill-trip through the Federal Republic, on Monday, 15 May 1963, with a tour es**rt of the German Lufthansa.

Omodele was the eldest child and her father's favourite who tragically died in 1965. She was in her twenties.

SLA was devastated by her death. It was rumoured that she died of a drug overdose, other sources calmed it was cancer,while other said she simply had a crisis.

She was the daughter-in-law of famous Yorùbá writer and Educator, J.F Ọdúnjọ.
