The Wasp is a story about two childhood friends, Heather and Carla, who haven't seen each other since school. Their lives have taken very different paths – Carla lives a hand-to-mouth existence while Heather has a high-flying career, husband and a beautiful home. And yet, here they are in a café having tea and making awkward conversation. That is until Heather presents Carla with a significant amount of cash and an unexpected proposition.

The Wasp, written by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, was first performed at Hampstead Theatre Downstairs, London on 29 January 2015. This production is brought to you by NU Theatrics in collaboration with the National Arts Council of Namibia. Rating: 16+

In the wake of our beloved president's passing, my heart is heavy. Though I never knew him personally, I witnessed his strength from afar. His resilience in facing challenges and dedication to our Namibian home were evident. Beyond politics, he was a son, brother, husband, and father to our nation. His legacy, intertwined with the struggles of our brave warriors, nurtured our freedom. In sickness and health, he stood tall. We bid farewell to a true statesman. Rest in peace, Our President Dr Hage G. Geingob.
