What a fantastic event! Thank you to every person who was there to play, to support, to check it out, to buy some yummy snacks and food. We had a great day and fun was had by all.

We started with 9 round robin rounds in which teams were randomly paired with each other and then played one first-to-five per round.

Stats were recorded throughout the day and reported by the team captains via screenshots. At the end of the first 9 rounds, we announced the top 4 that would be playing out for the top 3 spots, as well as the MVP of the day.

Our MVP was Carlo Rittmann of team HotNote, winning an amazing CoolerMaster MH670 headset, sponsored by DICT.

The top 4 teams who played in the final rounds were:

Slayers
Legendary Noobs
WAP_Ghosts

The 4 teams played were matched by random draw and played in Winner and Loser brackets for the top 3 spots. The first 5 rounds of the finals were also first-to-five, with team Slayers beating HotNote to grab 3rd place.

Teams Legendary Noobs and WAP_Ghosts battled it out for the top spot in an epic first-to-ten final round, in which team WAP_Ghosts managed to play themselves into FIRST PLACE! With the equally impressive team Legendary Noobs being placed in second place.

Time is running out, but we have good news...

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES HAS BEEN EXTENDED! Players can enter up to and on the day of the event - 3 September 2022.

Pre-register online beforehand at bit.ly/3PCHiLx to save yourself time and effort on the day of the event. But if you can't, you can register on the day as well. Payment can be made in cash at the tournament or via EFT at least 2 days before.

Teams can consist of 4 or 3 players, but the handicap remains that of the team and no advantage will be given to teams of 3.

If you cannot compile a full team, send your name and number to 081 435 9187 and we will try to pair you with other single players if they are available.

Make sure your game is up to date with the latest version and that you have the following maps installed: Firing Range, Terminal, Crash

Players under 18 MUST submit a parental consent form to be able to participate. You can download the form at bit.ly/3PCHiLx and bring it along to the tournament. Forms will also be available at the venue.

Remember to bring your charger, power bank, headphones and data connection to ensure a smooth gaming experience without glitches or downtime.

Spectators are welcome to attend the event! There will be a dedicated spectator area available. However, wifi will only be supplied to players. Anyone who wants to join the game as a spectator will need to join on their own network.
