From Berlin to Omaruru
Stefanie Eins was born in Berlin, Germany. After she spent a couple years in Switzerland she fell in love with Southern Africa. Besides having some relatives on this faraway continent, she also felt inspired by its capaciousness, which she especially found in Namibia.
Since Stefanie Eins was in her beginnings of discovering her art field, she was always in search of a place, where she could leave the busy city life behind. Concentrating on her projects - to allow her creativeness full bent, was a very important part of her life. This is exactly what she found in Omaruru. By offering art studios on a property in the little artist’s village in Namibia, Stefanie Eins aims to share this with other art enthusiasts.
The whole property needed a lot of work and rebuilding to become what it is now. Stefanie Eins designed all of the Studios as well as the main house herself. Including a beautiful collection of furniture and ceramics, it doesn’t take long until visitors find themselves in an artsy vibe. Mosaics, paintings, sculptures and many more beautiful art is situated on the property, which inspire visitors to (st)art themselves!
Besides the studios in which visitors from near and far are able to stay over, Stefanie Eins also organized a little art gallery. It shows some pieces of her art collection as well as some of her own work, incessantly updated. There are also copies and some originals, which can be purchased by admirers.
