I am Lizaan "/Namro" Kamburute, born in Walvis Bay, raised in Keetmanshoop, my hometown is Mariental. I'm a 14-year-old grade9 scholar at PK De Villiers Secondary School in Keetmanshoop. My dream career is to become a pediatrician. My hobbies are singing and modeling

We join the Mainga family, friends, and all singers in mourning the loss of Ms. Liezel Mbile Mainga. Her contribution to the growth and strengthening of the Southern Youth Choir, especially in helping shape our Constitution, will always be remembered with deep gratitude. May her soul rest in peace, and may strength, comfort, and unity be granted to her family, friends, and the entire choral and Accapella community during this difficult time.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Due to the overwhelming interest and the many videos flooding our DMs, we have officially lifted the audition ban for the Southern Youth Choir.

Any singer is welcome to join us in Keetmanshoop.
Rehearsal dates will be shared ASAP.

In future, for us to truly do justice to our name, the Southern Youth Choir will, this year, establish branches in the Hardap Region and across all towns in the ||Kharas Region.

NB!
• Everyone who previously auditioned must attend rehearsals
• All new members are welcome
• In-person auditions are cancelled

What to bring to rehearsal:
1. A black hard cover file with a pen, pencil, eraser & water bottle
2. Good vibes, positive energy & a teachable mindset
3. A valid travelling passport

This is your moment to sing, grow, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
