Mixed media art is so unique, its diversified pure creativity individualized to the artist that other artists styles cannot be compared. It’s a matter of taste. My collages are very complicated intelligent art. My art can be read as a story or a statement or a theme. However you the viewer interpreting the art, your experience will be emotionally profound and thought provoking. My collages are always a combination of fine art and photography, vintage illustrations or original vintage or retro advertising. I also incorporate history, humor, the universe and animals in many of my collages. The most common thread is that for me, there is always a story. My style is constantly evolving getting better and more defined. I love my art and if I take a step back and look at a finished collage; my persona saturates every single inch of the art. That's why artists are so sensitive and emotionally vested and connected to their work when in actuality their soul is exposed in plain view to everyone. I can honestly say that there is not one collage, painting, drawing or project where my tears have not touched and wet the surface of the piece I was working on. I painted through the death of five animals within an eighteen month period. The sorrow, pain and grief are not explainable and became only bearable because of my art. With enough said, I hope I was able to provide some personal insight into who I am. I think it will help you appreciate and like, or perhaps fall in love, with my art as I have.
