Some nights feel bigger while you’re inside them.

This was one of those nights. Still trying to process the fact that I got to host Borneo’s largest full orchestra ACG live stadium concert here in Kuching.

I came in thinking mostly about timing, cues, transitions, getting the flow right. Then somewhere between “mina sama konbanwa,” the Your Name soundtrack, Naruto bringing me back to secondary school days, and watching the entire stadium light up with phone torches, it stopped feeling like just another job.

Also, seeing Avantgardey live was slightly insane. Very grateful to have experienced this from the stage instead of the crowd. Definitely learnt a lot from this one. Still a lot to improve on, but I think that’s the part that keeps me excited about hosting in the first place.

It’s the end of the year, and we see people sharing their achievements and resolutions.

For me, this year felt more like crossing paths with myself again. It was about bridging more meaningful connections. As much as we celebrate the big wins, I think it’s just as important to notice what we’ve been feeding our soul.

It doesn’t have to be grand travels. Sometimes it’s just that one conversation with a close friend that went on for hours. Or a book you picked up that taught you a thing or two about yourself.

In a world that feels so saturated all the time, we need more human moments and real experiences to stay grounded. So in a season where everyone is posting their highlights, don’t feel discouraged. Don’t compare. Be happy for them, cheer for them when it’s needed, and stay true to your own pace.

For many of us, this is an unwinding season. I just want to take this moment to wish everyone a blessed holiday, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for us!
