🌱 YESTERDAY, HISTORY WAS PLANTED. TODAY, HOPE IS GROWING. TOMORROW, RESILIENCE WILL FLOURISH. 💚

On 10 June 2026, we celebrated a significant milestone with the official launch of the Razak Mansion Food Forest ESG-SDG Learning Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

More than a community garden, this initiative represents a living demonstration of how climate resilience, food security, disability inclusion, and ESG principles can converge into one practical, measurable ecosystem.

Through the PwD Smart FarmAbility Soil-U-tion™ Regenerative Ecosystem, we are proving that Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are not passive beneficiaries of development. They are innovators, educators, food producers, and climate resilience builders.

This is what looks like in action.

🌍 FROM CLIMATE ANXIETY TO CLIMATE ACTION

Traditional environmental models often tell us that climate determines our future.

At Razak Mansion, we demonstrate that communities can actively strengthen their resilience through nature-based solutions.

By integrating regenerative agriculture, living soils, biodiversity corridors, circular bio-economy systems, and decentralized food production, the Food Forest helps create:

✅ Localized cooling and urban greening

✅ Community food security

✅ Reduced organic waste

✅ Biodiversity enhancement

✅ Environmental education

✅ Stronger social cohesion

🦠 FROM SOIL TO HUMAN HEALTH

Healthy communities begin with healthy soil.

The Soil-U-tion™ ecosystem embraces what we call “Soil-u-logy” — understanding soil as a living biological engine rather than an inert growing medium.

Through beneficial microorganisms, regenerative practices, composting, and biodiversity-based food production, we are cultivating:

🌱 Nutrient-dense food

🌱 Stronger ecosystems

🌱 Better community health

🌱 Food-as-Medicine awareness

🤝 FROM AID TO AGENCY

Perhaps the most important transformation is social.

For too long, disability has been viewed through the lens of limitation.

At Razak Mansion, we are demonstrating a different narrative.

PWDs are leading the design, implementation, education, and stewardship of regenerative food systems.

This is not charity.

This is capability.

This is dignity.

This is inclusion in action.

🏢 A LIVING ESG-SDG LEARNING CENTRE

The Razak Mansion ecosystem now serves as a community platform featuring:

📦 Eco-HOPE Box Terrariums™ for household food security

🐟 Soil-U-tion™ Aquaponics Satellite Farms for zero-waste food production

🍂 Circular Bio-Economy Systems converting waste into living soil

🎓 ESG-SDG Learning Journeys for schools, universities, corporates, and communities

🌳 Community Food Forests that strengthen climate resilience

🏆 GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED. LOCALLY PROVEN.

The Soil-U-tion™ Regenerative Ecosystem continues to gain recognition through:

✨ Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) – The Road to MCY 2025 Recognition

✨ TRL 9 Large-Scale Commercial Operations

✨ WAFA - Water Air Food Awards 2026 Global Finalist (Food Category)

✨ Copenhagen Business School Global Case Study 2026

✨ Wilmington Metropolitan University (WMU) Luminary Award 2026

✨ World Environment Day Hero Award 2026

✨ Malaysia Scroll of Honour Award ( & UN-Habitat)

💡 THE NEW PARADIGM

❌ Old mindset: “Climate decides. Soil supports. Humans shape.”

🌱 Soil-U-tion mindset: “Climate is buffered. Living Soil empowers. Inclusive Humanity regenerates.”

This launch is not the destination.

It is the beginning of a movement.

A movement where every household can grow food.

A movement where disability becomes capability.

A movement where ESG becomes human.

A movement where resilience begins from the soil up.

Together, let us replicate this model across schools, communities, cities, and nations.

🇲🇾 Soil Today. 🥬 Food Tomorrow. ❤️ Hope Forever.

🌿 A Historic Milestone for Razak Mansion: Where Community Care Meets Regenerative Innovation 🌿

I am deeply humbled and grateful to see the launch of the Razak Mansion Food Forest & ESG-SDG Learning Centre featured in the Chinese media.

The newspaper highlighted several key initiatives introduced during the launch officiated by YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, including:

✅ A proposed Independent Living Monitoring System for senior citizens living alone, aimed at improving safety, early intervention, and community care.

✅ The development of a community-driven Food Forest where residents can participate in growing nutritious food while strengthening social connections and environmental stewardship.

✅ The establishment of an ESG-SDG Learning Centre to provide continuous education, volunteerism, sustainability awareness, and lifelong learning opportunities for residents.

✅ Monthly environmental activities, recycling programmes, health awareness initiatives, and community engagement efforts designed to improve quality of life for all generations.

Most importantly, the report recognized that the Food Forest is not merely about growing vegetables—it is about cultivating dignity, resilience, health, purpose, and belonging within a high-density urban community.

As a paraplegic social innovator, witnessing the Soil-U-tion™ Regenerative Ecosystem being embraced as a practical model for food security, active ageing, environmental education, and social inclusion is truly heartening.

This initiative demonstrates that sustainable development is not measured solely by infrastructure, but by how effectively we nurture people, strengthen communities, and restore our relationship with nature.

My heartfelt appreciation to:

🙏 YB Hannah Yeoh
🙏 The Razak Mansion Residents Committee
🙏 Morning Star Community Development Centre
🙏 MMGF, Lifetree Biotech, MG Formula
🙏 Wilmington Metropolitan University
🙏 Think Plus Academy & SustNET
🙏 All volunteers, residents, partners, students, and supporters who made this vision possible.

Together, we are proving that even within an urban public housing community, a small seed can grow into a movement.

From Food Forest to FARmacy. From ESG Learning to Community Resilience. From Dependence to Empowerment.

🌱 If There's a Wheel, There's a Way!

Anak ikan berenang tenang,
Di celah teratai waktu pagi;
Tanah disubur, komuniti gemilang,
Razak Mansion melakar ESG lestari.

Pohon ditanam membesar rendang,
Buahnya nanti dinikmati semua;
Hari ini Food Forest dilancar gemilang,
Warisan hijau untuk generasi seterusnya.
“Satu Tanah. Satu Komuniti. Satu Masa Depan Lestari.” 🌱🇲🇾♿🌳

Jika Ada Roda, Pasti Ada Jalan.

Terima Kasih. Daun Keladi. 🌱♿🌏

DAY 19 | Youth & Student Engagement: Growing Future Climate Stewards

The future of food security depends on the next generation.

Through PWD Smart FarmAbility’s Soil-U-tion™ Ecosystem, students and youth are exposed to living soil, plants, fish, nutrition, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and climate action.

They do not only learn from books.

They learn by doing.

They learn by planting, observing, harvesting, testing, reflecting, and sharing.

This creates powerful learning outcomes:

✅ STEM exposure
✅ Food literacy
✅ Environmental awareness
✅ Responsibility and teamwork
✅ Practical life skills
✅ Sustainability mindset
✅ Entrepreneurial confidence

When young people understand food systems, they become better prepared for the future.

They begin to see that climate action is not something far away.

It can begin in a school compound, a home garden, a mini greenhouse, or a community food forest.

Every student can become a young food security champion.
Every school can become a living sustainability classroom.

DAY 18 | Women, Families & Community Care in Soil-U-tion™

Food security is strongest when families and communities are involved.

Through the Soil-U-tion™ Ecosystem, women, mothers, teachers, caregivers, grandparents, and community leaders play an important role in building everyday resilience.

They help turn food growing into family learning, nutrition awareness, therapeutic care, and community bonding.

Soil-U-tion™ supports families by creating:

🌱 Access to fresh vegetables
🥗 Better food literacy
👨‍👩‍👧 Healthier family habits
📚 Learning through daily practice
🧓 Elderly engagement and purpose
🤝 Stronger neighbour-to-neighbour support

Food security is not only a technical issue.

It is a care issue.

It is about whether families can access nutritious food, whether children understand where food comes from, and whether communities can support one another during uncertain times.

Soil-U-tion™ brings food security back to the heart of the family and community.

💚 Celebrating World Environment Day with Impact, Innovation & Community! 🌍🌱

What an honour to be invited by Mr. Kennedy Michael of Alliance of River Three (ART!) as a special guest at the debut of Akar 🌳 — a new monthly sustainability session hosted by Jalan Negara Kita (JNK) and produced by Michelle Tan of Irregular Atelier.

This meaningful World Environment Day gathering brought together inspiring changemakers turning sustainability into real community action.

I was especially honoured to share the stage with:

🌱 Prof. Dr. Billy Chee Seng Tang, PWD Smart FarmAbility Malaysia
Sharing the powerful Soil-U-tion™ Regenerative Ecosystem and Eco-HOPE Box Terrariums — a disability-led innovation empowering communities to grow clean, nutritious food.

📊 Dr. Norsaidatul Akmar Mazelan
Highlighting ESG, ISO certification, and practical pathways for tracking and reducing GHG emissions.

🏢 Mr. Anthony Tan Gim Guan, Razak Mansion Management Corp
Sharing the inspiring success of the Razak Mansion Food Forest collaboration with PWDSF as a replicable urban community farming model.

🤝 A Historic Milestone
A key highlight was the signing of an MoU between PWDSF, ART!, and Razak Mansion, integrating river restoration, food forests, preventive health, and community empowerment through the Soil-U-tion™ Regenerative Ecosystem.

The event closed beautifully with Ms. Lavanya Iyer of WWF Malaysia, who reminded us of the importance of humanising the SDGs and making sustainability practical, inclusive, and people-centred.

Deep appreciation to Ms. Nabilah of JNK for her wonderful support throughout the event.

This is just the beginning of many more collaborations rooted in soil, rivers, health, inclusion, and hope. 💚🌍

DAY 16 | Awards & Recognition: Validation of Purpose and Persistence

Awards are not the final destination.

For PwD Smart FarmAbility, every award and recognition is a reminder that our journey of disability-led regenerative innovation is being seen, trusted, and validated.

Recognition helps strengthen public confidence in the Soil-U-tion™ Ecosystem.

It shows that our work is not only meaningful — it is measurable, replicable, and relevant to national priorities.

Our journey reflects:

🏆 Innovation with purpose
🌱 Regeneration through living soil
♿ Disability-led leadership
🐟 Food security through circular systems
📚 Education through hands-on learning
🤝 ESG and CSR partnership opportunities

TRL 9 recognition is especially important because it confirms that Soil-U-tion™ has moved beyond concept and prototype.

It is ready for real-world scaling.

Every recognition belongs not only to us, but to the communities, schools, partners, residents, and supporters who believed in this mission.

Recognition gives us confidence.
Community impact gives us purpose.

DAY 15 | Media Write-Ups: Telling Malaysia’s Regenerative Innovation Story

Visibility matters.

For PwD Smart FarmAbility, media write-ups are not about publicity alone. They are about helping Malaysians understand that food security, disability inclusion, ESG, climate resilience, and community health can be connected through one regenerative ecosystem.

The Soil-U-tion™ story deserves to be told because it represents:

✅ Malaysian grassroots innovation
✅ PWD-led entrepreneurship
✅ TRL 9 readiness
✅ Regenerative food security
✅ ESG and CSR alignment
✅ Real-world community deployment
✅ Scalable solutions for schools and neighbourhoods

Every article, media feature, interview, post, and partner story helps close the branding and exposure gap.

It helps MOSTI, corporate partners, policymakers, and the public see what has already been built on the ground.

A good innovation should not remain invisible.
It must be seen, understood, trusted, and scaled.
