Red Pottery clay is an interesting clay to keep water warm with glazing or chill through natural evaporation and cooling in unglazed body. Try with our 10 kg Red clay and AMACO Potter's choice cone5-6 glazes.

3x Birch on Saint Aubin red clay. Hot cone 6, 15 min hold.

You would love our 10 kg Red Pottery Clay with wide firing range from 800 deg C Terracotta to 1240 deg C burnt sienna and many other brown hues in between these firing ranges. Layer on Potter's choice, Celadon, Potter's choice flux over red pottery clay with Velvet underglazes the surprise results is unpredictable enchantment.

I haven't been loving my bag of red clay, but with the right glaze combo it really stuns. Greens and teals are winners for me! This is Amaco Textured Turquoise over Honey
