Welcome to the Malaysian Air Combat Tournament 2020!
This is a homegrown event, brought to you by MY Squadron, open to all residents of Malaysia.
A 2v2 style air combat, which you will fight for control of the bubble. Once the opfor has been eliminated, you will need to RTB successfully to earn points.
MY Squadron participants will be randomly paired, excluding winners and runner up of previous tournaments. Non MY Squadron participants are free to pair up with each other. If you have no wingman, fret not, we will find you one!
Match will be held in a server hosted by DCS Malaysia organizers, located domestically.
Mission files will be made available on request. The entire tournament will be held in the Caucasus region with several scenarios available.
- Registration -

Registration fee is RM20, which you will need to pay before end of July 2020
- Rules -
1. Strictly 2v2, once you have chosen your aircraft lineup, you cannot change until the match is concluded. (ie you will use the same aircraft you chose on round 1 of the match)
2. There are 2-4 missions available. (subject to change)
3. AWACS will be available in all scenarios.
4. Each aircraft will start from Cold, unless required otherwise due to game Bug.
5. Every participant will type ready and wait for the referee to type "GO!" in all chat.
6. If at anytime you get a "destroyed" or "killed" status, you MUST NOT EXIT THE SLOT. If you do, then you must disconnect from the server IMMEDIATELY.
7. Getting damaged outside the bubble, you may RTB and repair, respawning to a fresh aircraft is not allowed. This applies if you get damaged during taxi or takeoff. Please note Bubble Control Rule still applies. (Refer below)
8. Ping limit of 300ms is enforced.
9. Jester is allowed if you do not have a RIO for your F14.
10. For disconnected participants, you may re-enter as long as you have not taken off.
11. As we are using DCS OPEN BETA, some updates may affect game balance. If the changes are too drastic, the referee or organizer may amend these rules. We shall strive to announce them as early as possible.
- Comms and Streaming policy -
1. Match participants are NOT allowed to watch the LIVE stream. If he or she is caught, they will be disqualified for the round.
2. The spectator and gamemaster slot is only allowed for approved live streamers and referees only.
3. All live streams will be delayed by about 10-15mins.
4. All comms will be conducted in Gadget TV Discord. You will be sorted to your channels by a referee.
- Bubble Control -
1. No RTB to refuel and rearm AFTER entering the bubble.
2. Engagement bubble will be centered on the Bullseye.
3. Stay in the bubble for 5mins uncontested to control it.
4. If both Blue and Red has entered, bubble control will be contested until it is clear again.
5. If all the Opfor has been destroyed, bubble control will be automatically awarded to you.
6. Once you exit the bubble you may not reenter.
*if you get damaged during take off, you may RTB and repair. if the opfor enters the bubble during this time, you or your teammate have 5 mins to enter and contest the bubble. Once you are done with repair, you may enter. The bubble entry/exit is one way in, one way out per aircraft basis.
- Weapons Restriction -
1. AIM-9X banned.
2. All nukes banned.
3. Total active type missiles limited to 6 per aircraft. (AIM120B, R-77 and SD-10)
4. In addition to above limit, AIM120C limited to 4 per aircraft. (eg 4xAIM120C + 2xAIM120B is allowed)
5. AIM54A mk47 allowed up to 4 per aircraft.
6. AIM54A mk60 and AIM54C mk47 banned.
