Lets just say im obsessed with vinland saga. As of lately, it is without a doubt my fav anime to watch. I cant stop watching it and because it is still ongoing I cant make myself wait for the weekly episode any longer so I read the manga and im not even a manga person myself (lmao)

Teenage Thorfinn from Vinland Saga

okay i have to be honest when i made this drawing i was sooo proud of myself cause I thought this is so pretty and I did that.

Alas, few weeks flew by since then and I learned many things and when I look back at this drawing I see all the flaws. Regardless of that I decided to not make adjustments just to record the drawing journey that Im currently in.

Hopefully later in future, I will look back at all of my drawings and see the progress of it.

i totally did not forget to post this over the weekends 👀

but here is my long overdue post of this drawing and im super proud of it. one of my friends said that he thought it was a screenshot from the anime and i never felt more confident in my drawing.

i would totally want to corporate my own style to my drawing when i find my niche but for now what i can do is to draw very closely to the original art. in fact, i am working on finding my style as im typing this.

this is a very random post.

last week, my cousin’s wife had safely delivered a healthy baby boy and i thought i would illustrate and make a wish card of my own to be attached along with the present from my family to theirs. so i spent roughly a week slowly sketching and illustrating the wish card and finally it was done. i thought i want it to be customised specifically for the birth of the boy, so i put his name on it, i drew the mother holding the baby and the rack you’re seeing there is our gift to them. it was, to me, as perfect and sweet as it could get…. until his grandmother decided the name of the baby to be changed 😩. thing is i already printed out the wish card and HAD ALREADY GIVEN THEM both the card and the present, only then i was informed the boy’s name was changed. sigh, at least when he’s older he would know that he’s almost named differently in the past 😂

hehe this week’s project is mineral water!! idk if im crazy but im very picky with my water especially bottled ones. i will usually only drink mineral water and avoid drinking ‘drinking water’ (especially from the brand seamaster lmao) just because ‘drinking water’ does not taste good. the brand spritzer is my fav and it has green bottle cap hence why i paint mine green 😁
