After the success of our Improvisation sharing session last month at Coex. We have another Sunday sharing session coming up.
This time featuring Lee Kok Liang, together with Nathalynn Edward Lim and Ashlynn Edward Lim.
Come by Hin Bus Depot for an OPENstage contemporary dance sharing and catch them in action in an afternoon of movement, exploration, and live exchange.
~~~~~
OPENStage presented by Studio Pentas Hope with venue support from Hin Bus Depot provides a space for dance artists to explore ideas, share ongoing practices and creative processes that are still in development.
By opening the studio to the public, the event hopes to foster exchange between artists and audiences, and to introduce contemporary dance in a more accessible and process-oriented way to the Penang community.
Created and performed by Malaysian dance artists Lee Kok Liang, Nathalynn Edward Lim, and Ashlynn Edward, β€˜[Not] Just A Suggestion’ is a 25-minute dance exploration on the systemic demands and expectations of society.
At what point does a suggestion become something more?
