From Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Eugene Chee started playing the clarinet in secondary school band program.

In 2014, he joined the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and had been given opportunities to learn from the MPO musicians, under the tutelage of Gonzalo Esteban (Principle Clarinet) and Chris Bosco (Principle Bass Clarinet) of the MPO. He had performed and toured extensively with the orchestra.

Eugene is a Band Instrument Repair Technician with over 10 years of experience in the field.
His passion for music and curiosity to instrument making and repair had led him to pursue his career as a technician in the field of Band Instrument Repair Technology. Starting as an apprentice at The Band Store under the guidance of Mr. Tan Qin Wei, he went on to undertake Wind Instrument Repair courses under the guidance of Japanese Master of Craftsman & Wind Repair Technician, Mr. Atsushi Watanabe.

In 2022, Eugene joined the team at Music Elements, Singapore, as a Woodwind Specialist. Music Elements is Singapore’s one-stop music store, committed to provide the best customer service and musical products in town, offering the finest quality wind band and orchestral musical instruments, accessories, and also provide the maintenance and repair of the instruments.
