Featuring our 3rd and final act, Maha Jeffery!

His electrifying showmanship coupled with his powerful vocals have cemented him as one of the most distinguishable voices in the Malaysian rock scene.

He released his 2018 EP 'Changes' while living in Oxford, UK, and coupled it with a mini tour around London, Manchester, Amsterdam and Oxford.

Upon returning to Malaysia, he spent 2 years focusing on TMJB before coming back with his first solo release in 2 years with 'Watermelon Juice'.

Currently, he is working on his first full length album, CAISO, to be released at the end of 2024. The first 3 singles from the album are already available on all streaming platforms.

Featuring our first act, Tim Lim.

Coming from the rustic town of Ipoh, Tim has released two albums and 3 EPs over the years, with hope that his music is able to create some positive vibe in the local music scene.

As introvert that he can be, Tim uses music to express his reflection on life journey, as a learning experience where we can see our strengths and weaknesses. Tim draws inspirations from singer-songwriters like Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Jon Foreman and groups like Backstreet Boys, Switchfoot, Lifehouse and The Calling.

Tim will be performing his latest single, 'Won't Be Shaken' at AEW Sessions Acoustic Showcase. Be the first few to hear it in person. Tickets are still available!

Our Story

Started in 2013, An Evening With (AEW) Sessions has been a physical platform for bands and singer/songwriters to perform on stage.

In 2020, AEW expands its platform to online talk shows and live music performances. AEW serves as an excellent platform to promote businesses, conduct demos, tutorials, food tasting, and live music performances. AEW’s concept is casual and interactive. Hence, the audience is encouraged to comment, win giveaways and even tip the performers.
