I watched Siapa Cacat twice and honestly, I would watch it a million times more 💯

This powerful disabled-led production wove together personal stories honesty, vulnerability and strength. It challenged assumptions and reminded audiences of the importance of making space for all voices, not just on stage, but everywhere.

The show’s run at the has already ended, but this incredible cast and production must be featured regardless. We also have a soft spot for .jazi & who made it a point to support our theatre space and rehearse at Hush. It was a privilege to watch part of their journey before it hit the big stage.

We need more theatre like this. More stories told by the people who live them. So incredibly proud of Jazzie and Ching for co-directing this masterpiece, and a huge thank you to the cast for sharing your stories with us 🎭💕

If you ever get the chance to watch Siapa Cacat, take it. And if you’ve already seen it, see it again. ⚡️

Video description: Cast members from Siapa Cacat are filmed individually inside Hush The Theatre, where they also rehearsed for the production. One by one, they face the camera and share their thoughts in interview-style clips. The focus remains on each person, their expressions, and their voice, creating an intimate portrait of the artists behind the show. The simple theatre setting serves as a reminder of the creative space where the cast gathered, rehearsed, and further developed the production together.

Some plays stay with you for a long long time after you watch it. I’m OKay, yoU? is one of them. ✨

Watching Santhiagu bring this play into the world, with Trina directing it so thoughtfully, meticulously and fearlessly, has been such a privilege. They’re both incredible artists in their own right, but beyond that, they’re people I’ve had the joy of working with, growing alongside, and now calling friends.
Thank you both for trusting Hush The Theatre with your rehearsals. Seeing where this work has gone, and seeing the response it’s getting makes us unbelievably proud. ❤️

Santhi is genuinely a voice of the future, and this production feels like proof of that. We would tell everyone to go buy tickets for the KL Festival run… but it’s already sold out 🏁 So instead, we’re just really happy to celebrate and feature them here. For those of you who managed to get tickets, you are lucky lucky lucky and we hope you enjoy it! 🧚
