DJing nowadays versus the old days... man, there’s honestly no need to even debate it anymore. Look, whether you’re spinning heavy crates of vinyl or rocking a laptop with the sync button glued down, a DJ is a DJ. Period. People get so stressed out about the tech changing, but it's the exact same thing happening to graphic designers, musicians, and anyone dealing with AI music right now. At the end of the day, a computer can match the beats, but it can’t feel the vibe of the room. It doesn’t know when the energy shifts or what specific track is gonna make everyone lock in. The gear is always going to evolve, but that human touch? You just can’t automate that.
