Kuching Belly dancers made their mark on the international stage at the 7th ING International Dance Festival 2026 Bellydance Competition held in Gangneung, South Korea from April 23rd - 26th 2026🇰🇷.
Sharing the stage with competitors from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Leading the Malaysian delegation under the mentorship of Ms. Lynda, participants Belle Wong Zhi Ling, Fiona Tan Yian Chen, and Laura Chew Mee Zhen put on a fantastic performance, bringing home a total of 7 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
Their accomplishment represents a major milestone for Kuching’s dance scene, highlighting their talent and helping to raise Malaysia’s profile in the global performing arts community.
