The End of Oak Street (2026)
⭐ Rating: 8.5/10

A surprisingly fun and straightforward sci-fi adventure that doesn’t try to be too complicated.

Here’s what stood out for me:

• Not too heavy — a straightforward story with an 80s suburban setting, good pacing and plenty of adventure.

• For me, it feels like a crazy combination of Jurassic Park + Stranger Things, with a little bit of Zathura magic thrown into the mix.

• Some genuinely unexpected and hilarious references, including a little “Yabba Dabba Doo!” moment that caught me off guard. 😂

• Anne Hathaway is absolutely the bomb. Watching her leading three major movies in such a short span is really something. She continues to prove why she’s such a fantastic actress.

• And perhaps the most touching part is how a wife and children sometimes only begin to understand a father’s love when they finally see what he has been willing to do for them. ❤️

Definitely an entertaining one. It’s the kind of big-screen adventure that reminds you why original sci-fi movies can still be fun without needing to be part of a massive franchise.🦖
