It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on this account but moving into a new notebook seems worth a comeback! My journal lasted me until the end of November so December begins in this personalised Twinbook. The spread is much like the rest of the year, with one page for my weekly and the other page for journaling. Other essentials include tabs from and a 005 pen.

It’s season here in Malaysia so I’ve neglected my bujo for several weeks because like everyone else, everything is cancelled! But with April here, I decided it’s time to get back into some semblance of routine.

This is a very pared down weekly. The idea is to use the page on the right for dailies but I’ve had so little to do that it’ll probably just end up being next week’s weekly.

My main project this week is to figure out which incense to keep and which to give away. Certain scents trigger my phantosmia and it’s annoying. Obviously the ones I’m not using are taking up space and not sparking joy.

How has the age of Covid 19 changed your bujo habit?

Anyone can guess what my next bujo project is?

This was my recent half week where I was either too busy to use these pages or everything kept getting moved or cancelled. The covid 19 is now a global problem, which makes for very interesting times as our work and school life gets disrupted. I’m not sure if I’ll change much of the coming week’s layout but I still need to keep a sane work schedule. Luckily I work remotely anyway. Take care, my friends!

Here's a glimpse into my first couple of weeks ! Apologies for the huge amount of censorship bars; a lot of the stuff I'm working on this month is P&C. You can see that I've blocked off chunks of time for work and play. This is especially helpful in planning my time in the third week. I need to establish a routine while leaving time to have a life. Hopefully this will help me when things get really busy.

In the last week of December, I found a great daily/weekly spread by .bullet that had a simple time ladder to keep track of your hours. I really like the idea, although I'm not sure how useful it would be at the time. I'm a freelancer who spends most the day procrastinating, so maybe being able to see when I did some actual work would help with productivity.
In my initial experiment, I found that I could easily add my to-do list to the time ladder when I block off hours for work. At the same time, I would have days where I had nothing on so it feels as though the space was wasted. An "after the pen" is definitely in the pipes! I went ahead and stamped this page with my clear stamps without testing it out first, so bleeds happened.
Do you log your hours?

New year, new bujo! I liked the layout I used for the second half of 2019 so I reused it.
The journal is a little shorter so it was a snug fit, with very little room for any colour keys later. If you look at my older bujo under October, you can see how I use colour keys to block off days/weeks when an event is running or when a friend is in town. Works with multiple items without taking up the line! The pages for Q3 and Q4 are similar, cept I went with a lighter header. The heavy ink was starting to bleed through.
There's a part of me that hopes this journal lasts the year, but another part of me would get bored and want to switch it up. Do you stick with the same book all year or do you itch to try a new journal a few months in? Let me know in the comments. ⬇️

Like most people in bujoland, I’ve been prepping my 2020 although I only tend to do this at the last minute possible. Pretty pleased with my basic layout so far. Now I’m just adding headers and embellishments, and trying to decide whether to go ahead with the or use those two pages for something else. Anyway, my journal is a box grid notebook (hurray for the discount section!). I will reveal the inside in the next couple of days.

I never did set any goals at the beginning of the year in the old BuJo, so I didn't dedicate too much space for it in this one. It's sharing the page with the "last time" I did a particular chore.

My future log was in part inspired by . I will eventually mark out the public holidays, and yes, that is heavy correction you see under August. When I marked out the weekends, I accidentally referred to July instead of August. Oh well.

This was a quick one with a lot of stickers and washi tape because I don’t want to spend too much time thinking about it. The didn’t really work out for me for April so this month, I’ll only be using it for events and reoccurring tasks. My month cover page is the emptiest it’s ever been but I like it. I putt everything at the bottom on a sticker (half sticker, really) from , and the title plate for my memories from the same set. My weekly spread is a very green themed version of my usual spread, accented with a washi tape curated by and a twig sticker from . Yeah, sometimes I skip any deco and sometimes I stick as many as I can without it getting too cluttered. How was your April?
