Filming + Singing 🎬🎶

A little different from our usual Tuesday rehearsal as we welcomed a local film crew to capture moments from Dr Chong Pek Lin’s choral journey, choir rehearsals, and music-making process.

During the session, we also explored a deeper understanding of Kenyah music through the sharing of Dr Chong Pek Lin, our local musicologist who has dedicated much of her research to the Kenyah community, and who is also a member of our choir.

Thank you IainWithEyes Studio for spending the evening with us and documenting the passion, laughter, and hard work behind the music. Looking forward to seeing the final outcome!

Join Jehté Chamber Choir

Jehté Chamber Choir is a community choir made up of people from all walks of life, brought together by a shared passion for choral singing. We are a non-religious choir, welcoming singers of different backgrounds. We sing in 4-part harmony (SATB) and strive to create meaningful and high-quality choral experiences together.

We are currently welcoming new members to join us.
✨ What we are looking for:
– Able to read music scores
– Able to commit to regular rehearsals and performances

– A focused and inspiring rehearsal environment
– Opportunities for artistic growth and performance
– A supportive and dedicated choral community
