I’ve always hoped to connect and communicate with people through my art. That’s why, no matter how busy the studio gets, I still try to make time for creating. Although I've dreamed of holding a solo exhibition one day, but with work commitments, the number of artworks I’m able to produce is honestly quite limited.

I’m truly grateful to the organizers for giving a “slow-producing” artist like me the opportunity to be part of this exhibition, allowing my artworks to finally step out from quietly resting in the studio. Thankful that both of the pieces I submitted were selected, to be able to exhibit alongside more than 120 incredible artists is genuinely an honor.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came by or plan to visit the exhibition. Even if you weren’t specifically there for my artworks, your presence is still a form of encouragement and support to the entire team. From the curation process to the late-night setup preparations, so much effort and dedication went into making this exhibition happen, and they truly deserve the appreciation.

美术助理途中问我：“这样的活动收费高吗？”
我笑着说：“没赚。”
她愣了一下，看了我一眼。

比起价钱，我更在意的是这些无法用数字衡量的体验感：
在古祠里安静作画；
一起用餐、闲聊；
雨天里，坐在幽静的古庙屋檐下写生；
甚至有路过的旅人被吸引然后加入其中。

这些都是何其珍贵的片刻。

在画笔与线条的流动之间，
我们彼此拉近，同时也成为更真实的自己。

A journal book, a pen — and off we go.

A beautiful day spent with like-minded souls, wandering through Petaling Street, sketching the familiar yet seeing it anew. Places we thought we knew revealed more when we slowed down to draw.

No drafts, no erasing, no undo — just going with the flow. And somehow, in that process, you surprise yourself.
