*Background:*
LONG COVID or LONG-HAUL COVID is a group of health problems persisting or developing after an initial Covid-19 infection. Symptoms can last weeks, months or years and are often debilitating. The World Health Organization defines Long Covid as starting three months after infection, but other definitions put the start of Long Covid at four weeks. Long Covid is characterized by a large number of symptoms, which sometimes disappear and reappear. Commonly reported symptoms of long Covid are fatigue, memory problems, shortness of breath, and sleep disorder.

*Purpose:*
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a major world disabling event that has led to long-term consequences for patients, both Young and Old, irrespective of their prior health status. This WORLD CANCER DAY, we're sharing knowledge, research and insights from across the world on an Integrative Medicine Perspective to help educate, equip and empower YOU in the challenge against the very real impact of Long Covid, also known as Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-Cov-2 Infection (PASC).
*Synopsis:*
Long Covid may not be a single disease or syndrome. It can happen whether you had a mild case of Covid or a severe one. The symptoms could be similar to autoimmune, lung, heart, neurological or psychological disorders. Some symptoms are mild and others are completely debilitating. PASC is well-known to trigger Cardio-Vascular and Neurological problems. They may come and go, change or get worse over time. You may feel like you never really got better from your initial bout with Covid at all. In the cardiovascular system, effort intolerance and chest pain occur often. People are at increased risk of stroke, pulmonary embolism and myocardial infraction after recovering from an acute Covid infection. Treatment depends on your specific symptoms. Nevertheless, increasingly there is also a rise in a variety of cancers and an alarming new phenomenon called Turbo-Cancer.
