The Dance Stage Malaysia's elite ballet school with a versatile program, inspiring teachers and excellent facilities

The Dance Stage was founded by Ms Lovell Chia with a primary aim to raise the quality of ballet education in Malaysia. The focus of the school’s ballet program is to give an all-rounded ballet education to little dancers. Little dancers who are enrolled in our program will be constantly inspired. As a result, we have dancers who are confident, creative, intelligent, technically-superior and musically- strong.

The Dance Stage Elite Team took the stage at the 7th Asia Open Dance Championship 2026 (AODC),
bringing with them all the hard work, training and dedication
from the studio to the competition stage. 🤍

So proud to see our dancers step out with confidence, courage and passion,
every stage is part of their journey. 🏆✨

“3 years old? Isn’t that too young for ballet?” 👀🩰

Many parents think their little one needs to be able to listen,
follow instructions and stay focused before joining a class.

But that’s exactly what they’re here to learn. 🤍

From exploring movement with a parent at Age 2,
to Dancing Babies at Age 3,
and building ballet foundations through Pre-Ballet at Ages 4–6,
every stage is designed for how little ones learn and grow.

Movement and early dance experiences can support coordination, listening, musicality, confidence and social development.

They don’t have to be “good at ballet” to begin.
They learn by beginning. 🌱🩰

Meet Ng Jo Wen, age 10, performing the Graduation Ball Variation — then and now.

Under the dedicated Classical Coaching of Ms Lovell,
together with her TDS Elite Team training,
Jo Wen has shown remarkable growth in just half a year. 🤍

Watching both performances side by side shows just how much can change in half a year.

From stronger technique and greater control to improved musicality, confidence and performance quality, every little difference you see is built through consistent training, corrections, practice and experience.

This is what our TDS Elite Team journey is about.

Not about becoming perfect overnight, but about giving our dancers the training, guidance and opportunities to keep growing — step by step.

We’re incredibly proud of Jo Wen’s progress, and we can’t wait to see how much further she’ll go. 🌟
