From yarn balls to finished granny squares!

Teaching such a big group was an absolute blast—we were blown away by how quickly everyone picked up the basics of crochet today! Seeing those “aha!” moments when the stitches finally clicked was everything.

What an incredible day at the Semarak Merdeka 2026: Bengkel Kemahiran Mengait! 🇲🇾

We had such a big group, and we are honestly so impressed by how quickly everyone managed to pick up crochet. Seeing so many first-timers master the basics, work through the patterns, and hold up their completed granny squares and braided crafts was truly the highlight of our day!

A huge thank you to BUSANAMenaraMARA for having us—it was such a fun, energetic crowd to teach! Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought so much enthusiasm to the session. Keep practicing those stitches!

Small hands, big accomplishments!

Looking back at our Beginner’s Crochet Workshop on August 15th! Pink yarn, bright minds, and so much determination filled the room.
Starting something brand new is always a challenge at first—threading the yarn and getting those stitches right takes a lot of patience! But these awesome kids completely blew us away with how fast they learned. They nailed the basics!
