Cherchez l’artiste is a leporello book I designed as a compilation of the photographs was making during the year, and observing other artists in residence in the schools of Seine-Saint-Denis. Throwback to a project made in 2018 for the French photographer Valérie Frossard, itinerant resident. 
.
Valérie Frossard "sees the world as a giant lab of humankind studies and often includes herself physically in her work, as she feel see is only another piece of the bigger picture." 
In this project, she "followed" eight artists and a researcher in residency In Situ in Department, near Paris France. Eight months of observation and at the nodal point of this spinning a question: what exactly is an artist? 
I was therefore commissioned by Valérie Frossard to lay out the book which will be the compilation of the photographer's research: visual note taking, written and sensitive traces, combined extracts from interviews, questionnaires and symbolic self-portraits.

« mettre en mouvement / to set in motion » workshop for in March 2019.
The workshop proposed to approach and explore the intrinsic relationship between dance, image and space.
During the 3 days, the group was invited to practice daily movement and relaxation exercises, visual, spatial and sound research.
The result of the workshop was a 7 minutes performance combining dance, music, videomapping and scenography.
