🎶 罗睿琹（Loh Rui Qin）的音乐成长之路 🎶
睿琹从小学三年级开始接触乌克丽丽，最初跟随 Brenda Lee Brenda老师学习。Brenda老师不仅是她的启蒙老师，更是在她音乐旅程中播下第一颗种子的引路人。
2020年，疫情来袭，MCO期间所有课程转为线上学习。那段时间，睿琹开始跟随我（Thiam老师）透过网课继续学习音乐。两年的线上课程中，我慢慢发现她拥有不错的音乐感和学习能力，对节奏、旋律和乐器掌控都有着超越同龄孩子的潜力。
随着成长进入中学阶段，我建议她从乌克丽丽升级学习Acoustic Guitar，并安排她开始挑战Rockschool考级，顺利完成了Grade 1的学习与考试。
疫情结束后，睿琹为了更方便持续学习，选择跟随家附近的William Kok老师继续深造吉他。很开心看到她在William老师的指导下，指弹技巧获得了爆发式成长，无论是音色控制、演奏技巧还是音乐表现力，都有了令人惊喜的进步。
在2025年的Rockschool考试中，William老师大胆地为她安排直接挑战Grade 5。面对如此大的跨越，睿琹没有辜负老师的期望，以 Merit 88% 的优异成绩顺利通过考试
Brenda老师和William老师都是我的好朋友，也是非常优秀的音乐教育者。学生无论跟随哪位老师学习，都能获得专业且用心的指导。
🎶 The Musical Journey of Loh Rui Qin 🎶
Rui Qin began her musical journey in Primary 3 when she first started learning the ukulele under the guidance of Brenda. As her first music teacher, Brenda played an important role in nurturing her interest in music and laying a strong foundation for her future growth.
In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic and MCO restrictions changed the way we learned, Rui Qin continued her lessons online with me, Thiam. Throughout those two years of online learning, I gradually discovered that she possessed a natural musical talent. Her sense of rhythm, musical understanding, and dedication showed great potential beyond her age.
As she progressed into secondary school, I felt she was ready for a new challenge and encouraged her to move from ukulele to acoustic guitar.
After the pandemic, Rui Qin continued her guitar studies with William Kok, a teacher located closer to her home. Under William's guidance, her fingerstyle guitar skills developed tremendously. Her technique, musical expression, and overall musicianship grew rapidly, reflecting both her hard work and the quality guidance she received.
In the 2025 Rockschool examination, William confidently encouraged her to take a big leap forward by attempting Grade 5 directly. Rising to the challenge, Rui Qin exceeded expectations and achieved an impressive Merit score of 88%
Both Brenda and William are not only my good friends but also excellent music educators. No matter which teacher a student learns from, they will be guided with professionalism, dedication, and heart.
