What exists between a loss of balance and a meeting with the ground? How can we let go of control, to look for what’s just beyond our grasp? Drawing inspiration from various disciplines of freeriding, this work is an exploration of how our bodies can be a vehicle into flow.

The time has come! Get ready to witness a celebration of local stories and living histories, as gigantic puppets traverse George Town's streets 🤯

🤝 Residents of Taman Sri Janggus, Bukit Mertajam and Ban Liau, Bukit Tambun, Malaysian artists and United States puppet theatre troupe Boxcutter Collective came together over the past four months to construct these awe-inspiring creations. 🧵✂️🎨

Everyone is welcome, so come along for a joyful display of togetherness! This parade is guaranteed to fill your Sunday morning with festive cheer!

Celebrated Spanish artist Isaac Cordal's miniature people can be found throughout the world: Berlin, London, Vienna, Taipei, Montreal, New York, Paris, Hanoi, etc. And now they're HERE in George Town! ⭐

These remarkable figurines are waiting for you in the most unlikely places, blending neatly into the background 😯 Part of Cordal’s ongoing project Cement Eclipses, they remind us of the imperfect construction of our society and the absurdity of our existence.

Isaac Cordal’s groundbreaking project is supported by the Embassy of Spain in Malaysia.
