Cantus Musicus The choir sings for the pleasure of making good music and has built itself a solid reputation of versatility and a high standard of musicianship.

A vibrant international chamber choir founded in 2003 and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a repertoire of sacred and secular music ranging from the medieval ages to close harmony and light jazz. It has performed many works in English, Latin, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, French, Welsh, Gaelic, Russian, Dutch, Czech, Finnish, and Norwegian, and is well-known to and supported by local and expatriate communities in KL for its concerts and in particular, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols held every year. Cantus Musicus supports and sings with the German Protestant and Catholic Church of KL and the Finnish church (Suomen Kirkko) in Malaysia. Occasionally, the choir sings the Christmas mass at the Vatican Embassy (Apostolic Nunciature) and for congregations of the Swedish Church Abroad and the Norwegian Seamen’s Mission.
