👩🏻‍🎨
May Ling Chen is the artist behind Petals by You, an artisanal botanical studio in Kuala Lumpur. She began her artistic journey in 2018, focusing primarily on educating her students, both locally and online, in the art of handmade flowers.

SEASONS is her first solo exhibition, in which she reflects and makes sense of her range of emotions over the past eight years by combining her handmade flowers and her expressive use of colours on canvas.

This exhibition is not only a showcase of her technical skill in creating realistic flowers. It is also a reflection of how she is finally comfortable with herself enough to translate her inner world not just into written passages, but into a raw visual representation of the various seasons of her life.

Proud of our and her brainchild. It’s the final weekend for this meaningful exhibition. Come by come by!

It was an honour having YB Anthony Loke Siew F**k and Mr Syed Redza, CEO Prasarana at the Siapa Cacat show by Teater Untuk Semua tonight! Thank you for making time to watch the show, to support and cheer along in the crowd. It was a wonderful vibe tonight!

Two more shows to go tomorrow!

OKU bukan memerlukan simpati. Mereka hanya mahukan persekitaran yang membolehkan mereka hidup secara bermaruah seperti orang biasa.

Last weekend was one of those weekends that we’ve always envisioned. Plenty went down - from meeting new local works at the ‘Untitled - A Not So Typical Art Exhibition’ to the ‘SUMUD - Existence is Resistance’ Palestine solidarity event, people were and . All this took place against the backdrop of the month-long KL Festival, which was meaningful because being seen as part of KL’s growing creative and culturalarts ecosystem makes our journey of doing all this while much more sweeter. We hope that we can continue providing a home for everyone’s journey and story, such as the Drawdelow’s solo exhibition (and our seven other ongoing exhibitions!).

Last weekend was a that inspires us to forge on forward, and that begins with this coming weekend. Come check out the ‘Untitled’ exhibition’s satellite events and forums, and the ‘Siapa Cacat?’ disability theatre show, or bring your family to kick off their school holidays with our Cuti-Cuti GMBB programme. Whatever it is that you seek, we hope you will discover more with us. Jumpa nanti!
