It was 1981 that His Holiness Swami Shantanand Saraswathi, founder of The Temple of Fine Arts, lit a lamp to symbolise the beginning of something very beautiful for the arts, especially dance and music. The aim was to help Malaysian youth rediscover their cultural, artistic and spiritual heritage and make it relevant for themselves and for future generations to come. In 1991, He mooted the idea

of a multi-storeyed building that would enhance His mission of serving the community in many ways. The year 2008 marked the realisation of His dream; a 5 storey building with dance and music studios as well as a performance hall, a library, and other related amenities was finally complete. Shantanand Auditorium is a 600 seater performance hall, well equipped technically and acoustically to enhance the artistic values of stage productions. Since its soft launch in November 2010; and later the official opening by The Honourable Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia on the 4th of July 2011, Shantanand Auditorium has quickly become a venue of choice for artistic productions and corporate events in Kuala Lumpur. To date, the auditorium has hosted dance, music, drama and dance-drama events including wedding and special functions. It also boasts of two floors of dining space suitable for medium sized catering events.

With hearts full and spirits uplifted, we offer our deepest gratitude to everyone who made Chidambara Rahasyam a truly unforgettable journey.

Thank you to our audiences for coming with openness and devotion, and for holding space for the story, the silence, and the mystery to unfold. Your presence completed the experience.

Our sincere thanks to Vinay Varanasi and his extraordinary team of musicians and dancers, whose artistry, dedication, and love brought this vision to life.

We are grateful to The Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur, Shri Shankar Kandasamy, and the dancers of TFA KL for this beautiful collaboration, and to every volunteer, supporter, and well-wisher who stood behind the scenes with quiet strength.

This offering was more than a performanceโ€”it was a shared remembrance.
Of story and stillness.
Of movement and meaning.
Of community and compassion.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.
Until the next unfolding. ๐Ÿ™

The secret of Chidambaram is felt in the heart, but we want to hear it in your words.

The journey of Chidambara Rahasyam is incomplete without the energy of our audience. Your thoughts help us refine the mystery and elevate the experience.
