The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday that originated to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. On this day, people race dragon boats, eat zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), and hang mugwort to pray for health and safety.
