A magical night full of excited voices, Olympic Games outside, love, joy and peace in side the gallery, children living unprivileged, some on the autism spectrum. :D Magical because we have Antares from Magick River, a great honour to have him performing with his flute. And for my student Peik Quan who had learned art with me during her secondary but now chooses to further her studies in music; Sarah Ong, Peik Quan's best friend and performing partner who nods her head when Peik Quan approached her to support METTA ART fundraising exhibition. Your performances has made the exhibition opening so special! ♥♥♥
Months of preparations and meetings for this exhibition, to showcase the artworks from Cambodian children and Zhe Xuan, a talented autism spectrum artist supported by myself, Ellie Ng and late Mr Tang Ching Kua ~ my very first art teachers who lead me to art journey....I do miss him very much, I am sure he is happy to see the way we use our talents to give back to society.
May Lai and I would like to reflect our gratitude to everyone that we are connected to, for your time, kindness, generosity and great support in many ways! Thanking our very supportive families, friends and relatives....without you, and your understanding, this would not have been successful.
May the good deeds we do bring us joy that stay forever in us!
