In my tortured poetry era… ✍🏼

Loving the new album and listened to all 31 songs in one sitting. In the lieu of processing all the emotions this album makes me felt, i have a need to write a poem of my own life as a sad tortured shark.

Here’s the manuscript:

How much sad do think a shark has?
They say you look like
“the great white” in this light,
I said “im just alright”.

Speed, Breach, Jaws,
Who’s afraid of little old me?
I can do it even to prey with broken-hearts.
Wrong place at the wrong time.

They steps on my lawn,
then sue me when I chew
and they get me down bad.
You don’t get to tell me about sad.

They said i am so bloody, wretched, and narcotic of a hunter,
Oh, they’re so terrified of me
But they keep singing about my “baby” at every party?
How much sad do you think a shark has?

I made pickles and it inspires this.

Some shark-life updates: This month has been shark fest at my home! Ive been binge watching all content for shark fest on ! And I’ve made a list of all the shark species ive learnt about. The number is at 52 types of shark and counting (since there are over 500 of them). The more i learn about them the more in awe i am of these beautiful and magnificent creatures and the marine life that forms the ecosystems around them.

I am planning on doing sth special for shark week. I dont know what yet, but I definitely would post more.

Cant wait for starting July 23rd!

Hope everyone has great time celebrating love in any form…

This is the first comic of the year. Ive been overwhelmed with ideas, inspiration and projects that i want to do and its hard to prioritize. And trying not to keep thing within the same format kinda limit what ive been wanting to explore. All these things (you could also say its just and excuse cuz I think so too). Then i went back to why i started comic because i want to NOT overthink about thing, but just DO it!

I might start sharing things that ive been doing that didnt fit in this comic theme but still things that make me happy.
