!!Artist Talk!!
To all art enthusiasts and creators, we have an upcoming artist talk by Jeffery TY Lee who is a professor at Camberwell College of Arts in London.
Jeffery will take a walk through "Boxes of Dialogue" exhibition and engage a group discussion with the participating artists and the visitors. The discussion will be correlating to some of Joseph Cornell's working processes such as collage, assemblage, 3-D and mixed media. It will question these tableaux of practices and their relevance to artists working today. How do we engage and find meaning of the world we live in through the narratives, poetry and materials manifested in its content? Where do we position ourselves in relation to reality and imagination? Can personal memory be experienced as collective consciousness? And, perhaps further enquiries into this unique and intriguing art form.
