Introducing VESPERA QUARTET | Associate Quartet ✨

Formed by four aspiring musicians from the Tianjin Juilliard School, the Vespera Quartet joins SYNC Chamber as its Associate Quartet. Featuring Tsai-Jou Wu (violin), Reina Teo (violin), Daeun Lee (viola), and Estal Lee (cello), the quartet comprises members currently pursuing graduate studies at the Tianjin Juilliard School, brought together by a shared commitment to exploring chamber music across diverse formats and approaches, and a dedication to steady, collaborative work.

The Vespera Quartet aims to contribute as a vehicle for international artistic exchange and to cultivate a deeper appreciation for chamber music among diverse communities. Through this collaboration, the quartet supports SYNC Chamber’s cross-border expansion and contributes to the enrichment of the chamber music landscape in Malaysia and beyond.

As our musicians ease into their break, we look back on our recent SYNC 8: MENDELSSOHN, a session that, like many before, reminds us why we create ✨

Three years on, this journey has never been just about performance. It’s about connection: with our supporters, who listen not from afar but alongside us; with our longtime venue partner and event consultant (, ) whose quiet dedication gives us the space to grow; and with our devoted musicians, whose spirit and commitment remain the heart of it all 🫶🏻

As summer begins, a chapter quietly concludes as we celebrate the beauty of Mendelssohn’s craft and a well-deserved break for our dedicated and lovely team of musicians 🙂‍↕️
