We’re proud to present Activating People, the long-awaited third book documenting the journey of the Klang River Festival (KRF).
This edition feels the pulse of those who connect with the Klang River — through activism, culture, art, education, performance, and the rhythms of everyday life.

As the official 2024 documentation of KRF, the book also marks a new chapter: our first year of year-round efforts — from workshops and school programmes to campaigns and public dialogues — all culminating in the festival as a collective “report card” of what’s been learned and shared.

Activating People invites you to rediscover the river through the people who move it.

Klang River Festival 2025 came to life because of the people who showed up, shared stories, laughed, learned, and cared.

We loved seeing all of you by the river this year.We also want to say sorry 🙏 for any hiccups, unexpected setbacks, or the usual outdoor festival challenges that may have affected your experience.
We’re learning, and your patience and support mean the world to us.
