It is both an honour and a privilege to welcome you all to the 2025 Asia Network Beyond Design (ANBD) Exhibition here in Kuala Lumpur. This marks the second time Malaysia has had the opportunity to host one of ANBD’s four regular exhibitions — and we are truly grateful for this continued trust.
This year’s theme — “Seeing, Feeling, and Living in Asia” — is a powerful reflection of ANBD’s core mission: to celebrate creativity while fostering connection across cultures. It invites us to explore the many layers of Asian identity — from heritage and tradition to innovation and contemporary expression.
To all the participants and shortlisted winners — congratulations. Your work speaks volumes. You have brought forward diverse and compelling perspectives that showcase the richness of Asia’s creative landscape. You remind us that art and design are more than visual forms — they are voices, stories, and bridges across borders.
And, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of the 2025 ANBD Kuala Lumpur Exhibition — from the organising team and volunteers to our partners and supporters. This event could not have happened without your dedication and passion.

2025 ANBD Jeju Special Exhibition was successful held.

Theme: The Path of Wind: Currents and Crossroads in Asia
The ANBD 2025 Jeju Special Exhibition is a vibrant cultural celebration where art and design from various regions of Asia converge in the unique setting of Jeju Island.
Wind, the symbol of Jeju, constantly moves, forging new paths and serving as nature’s messenger, carrying countless stories. This exhibition explores new connections formed by the meeting of tradition and modernity across different parts of Asia. Through artistic expressions, it delves into the interplay of nature, humanity, and culture, visualizing the exchanges and fusion within the vast cultural context of Asia.
