The royal district of Kuala Kangsar showcases another dimension of Perak’s heritage through Kampung Warisan Budaya. Established as a living museum, the cultural village preserves eleven traditional Malay timber houses relocated from various states across Peninsular Malaysia. Each beautifully crafted home highlights the architectural elegance, intricate wood carvings and craftsmanship that define traditional Malay design. Today, these heritage houses have been thoughtfully transformed into boutique accommodation, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Malaysia’s cultural legacy.
