传扬以爱为本的剧场精神
Bekas在马来文指的是前任，而Journal指的是日志。当两个字放在一起，Bekas Journal就意识着拥有同样过去的人正在为现在与未来写下一本属于他们追求梦想辉煌的日志。
Bekas Journal成立于2011年12月6日，由一群对戏剧拥有着浓厚热血精神的巴生光华国中戏子研究会会友（bekas），以“延续属于我们的演艺旅程，传扬以爱为本的剧场精神”为创团使命而组成。目前以非盈利文化团体的形式运行，其中创团的代表分别为叶伟杰、辜思盈以及许勇宽。
至今，Bekas Journal共有30名成员 。自中学毕业以后，大家各往不同领域发展，唯一保留在大家心中的共同点就是对剧场的热爱。这么样简单的态度，使他们决定在中学毕业后，继续通过剧场作为与观众分享课题的探讨之媒介。Bekas Journal也很荣幸得到1位资深的剧场工作者
的支持，成为剧团顾问。他们是TEAM聚团团长，刘家荣。同时，巴生福建会馆青年团也鼎力支持剧团的活动。
此外，Bekas Journal也凭着“热血大马”的信念希望带领更多的大马朋友走进剧场观看演出。在这同时，以关心大马社会作为演出制作的方向与主题，希望通过舞台与观众进行心得分享和交流。

In the Malay Language, “Bekas” is defined as alumni and “Journal” means the daily record of events. When the two words are placed together, Bekas Journal signifies a group of people who share the same memories and together, they venture into creating their future. The idea came about from three students who are W.J. Yap, Barbara Koh and Robin Khor. For the time being, Bekas Journal consists of 30 members. Upon completing their high school education, each member has gone on to develop themselves in different fields such as Law, Medicine, Psychology, Performing Arts and other notable fields. The one thing that still binds our hearts is the passion towards theatre work. Therefore, we decided to continue sharing our thoughts and connect with society through theatre. At the same time, Bekas Journal is proudly supported by an artistic advisor, who is Milo Low Kah Weng, the president of TEAM Theatre. Hokkien Association Klang is also very supportive towards the group and collaborated two projects as liaison unit with Bekas Journal Production Team. Besides that, Bekas Journal aims to encourage non-theatre going Malaysians to watch theatre performances. At the same time, using Malaysia as a context for our performances and to share and exchange ideas with the audience through theatre. Vision:
a) To broaden the field of theatre in Klang. b) To provide an alternative to entertainment in Klang. c) To nurture local context in creative art work.
